This brief interview provides insight into the skills and experience of Mrs Meegan Grubb. Meegan has recently joined Marinova in the role of Analytical Chemist.
What skill do you bring to Marinova?
I am a highly organised and systematic laboratory specialist with excellent attention to detail. I bring more than 25 years of experience in analytical chemistry, instrumentation calibration and laboratory management to my role here at Marinova.
Can you tell us about your expertise?
I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Tasmania. I have more than 25 years of laboratory experience across two different advanced manufacturing industries, with particular focus on GC-FID, FTIR and UV-Vis analyses.
I thrive on providing timely analytical expertise to support the success of commercial projects. I am passionate about identifying and supporting quality improvements and utilising robust scientific data to refine process and development activities.
What brought you to the Marinova team?
Marinova operates at the intersection of science, innovation & manufacturing. The research and production of natural extracts that genuinely impart benefits to human health was a significant drawcard to me. I am delighted to join a team of exceptional people creating positive global impact.
What are some of the day to day activities in your role?
I undertake analytical, microbiological & physical analysis of Marinova's fucoidan extracts, continuously analysing samples at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they adhere to rigorous quality standards.
I work closely with Marinova's Chief Chemist, Quality Manager and other members of the laboratory and production teams.
