Marine BioConnect 2026

Marine BioConnect 2026 was recently held in Marinova's home city of Hobart, Tasmania. The event was hosted by the Marine Bioproducts Cooperative Research Centre (MB-CRC), Australia’s premier hub for marine bioproducts research, development and commercialisation.
Marinova's Research Director, Dr Barbara Wimmer, was amongst the leading Australian researchers in attendance. "Marine BioConnect continues to bring together professionals from right across the industry," said Dr Wimmer. "Marinova is proud to be an active industry partner in the MB-CRC and has a number of collaborative research partnerships underway. Significant and sustained investment in innovative research remains a priority of Marinova's and is the reason the company is recognised as the global leader in fucoidan science."
The 2026 event saw representatives from across the marine bioproducts spectrum discuss topics as diverse as emerging technologies to R&D strategy. "Marinova is proud to be contributing to Australia’s vibrant marine bioproducts future," finished Dr Wimmer. "Innovative research is vital to accelerating industry growth."
