Consumers are increasingly recognising the link between nutrition and healthy ageing. Demand for ingestible beauty supplements continues to rise with an overarching focus on natural and clean label products.

Recent insights, such as the 2022 report authored by InsightAce Analytic, indicate that the global ingestible beauty market was valued at US$3.29 billion in 2021, and it is expected to reach US$8.30 billion in 2030 – promising a record CAGR of 11% from 2022 to 2030.

Fuelling category demand is the rising prevalence of skin and lifestyle diseases, an increasingly health-conscious public, and technological advances in the beauty industry. R&D initiatives to develop natural and herbal skincare products and the availability of customized nutritional supplements are also predicted to boost the ingestible beauty market for the remainder of the decade.

“We are increasingly working with brands looking to introduce 'beauty-from-within' products to their  range,” said Marinova’s Marketing & Communications Manager, Amanda Mackinnon. “Natural ingredients that are sustainably sourced and supported by scientific evidence tick all the boxes. With demonstrated benefits for gut and digestive health, immune support and healthy ageing, high purity fucoidan is the perfect ingredient for inclusion in nutricosmetic formulations.”
